The business was founded by two experienced operators in the Telco space, one having worked for Phones 4u and built several successful B2B companies, the other an ex-major player at Music Magpie, Mazuma and Webuyanyphone, some of the leading brands in this space.
We built this business to be low-touch, high-volume, decent margins, scalable and with minimal input and overheads, so could technically be ran part-time by somebody alongside their 9-5.
The beauty of the business model is two-fold, we don't handle any of the stock, the operations and logistics side has been outsourced (meaning no expensive warehouse or overheads) and we plant a tree for every device recycled, which has set us apart with customers when it comes to choosing between us and our competitors.
Almost all of our seed capital was spent on establishing scalable foundations for growth, including tech stack, automations, integrations, the website and our e-commerce shop (both B2C and D2C).
The business now requires an investor or acquirer to take what is a great brand, a fantastic story, the IP and the top class foundations we have put into place and scale it to a level it is capable of reaching.
