LOCATION:
The property is located in the heart of Glasbury, a popular crossing point on the River Wye. The site is just off the A438 which connects Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire to Ledbury, Herefordshire, linking several historic English and Welsh towns. The village is a well-known tourist destination, with wonderful views, bordering the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The site has direct access to the River Wye from the north-eastern edge of the site, known as The Bony which is used by campers for water sports. The property is also in close proximity to two Sustrans cycle routes.
The popular market town of Hay-on-Wye, famous for the annual Hay Festival, is 4 miles to the north. The town of Brecon is 12 miles to the south-west and the city of Hereford is 24 miles to the east. Junction 24 of the M4 is approximately 46 miles to the south and provides access to the Severn Bridge to the east.
