Offered for sale: a profitable, long-established UK advanced-composites engineering and manufacturing business supplying motorsport, hypercar, defence and UAV, aerospace, medical and specialist industrial customers.

The Company designs and manufactures lightweight composite components and complex assemblies, carrying customers from early design and material selection through tooling, prototyping, production, assembly and finishing under one roof. It holds supplier approvals that take years to earn, including supplier-list status with a marquee luxury OEM held for the better part of a decade, alongside live programmes across F1, top-level motorsport, hypercar, UAV and MedTech customers.

FY26 turnover reached a record £3.97m, up 26% on the prior year, with gross margin held between 45% and 50% across the four-year record. Adjusted EBITDA was £908k at a margin of around 23% after normalising owner-related costs. The customer base has broadened from 33 to 47 active accounts in two years, no single customer sits above c.18% of billings, and top-five concentration has fallen from c.87% to c.61%.

The standout feature is capacity. The purpose-developed facility carries autoclave curing, climate-controlled clean rooms, kit cutting, a multi-stage trim shop, bonded assembly and finishing, all installed and estimated by management to be running at around 20% of practical capacity. Growth towards £14-15m of turnover is considered achievable through higher utilisation and programme conversion rather than major additional property or plant investment, with incremental volume converting at around 50% gross margin through the fixed-cost base. A defined programme into medium-volume manufacture is under way, supported by a £2.5m innovation-grant application in preparation.

The founder has stepped back into a strategic role. Day-to-day leadership and the key customer relationships sit with the management team, supported by an in-house training academy that develops technicians internally.
