High Growth E-commerce Vegan-Friendly Handbag Brand
Starting in October 2019 out of my bedroom at 20 years old, we managed to quickly scale & gain traction for the brand through paid advertising across all social media platforms.
We managed to turn over sales of 889k USD in our first-ever financial year (2020) Followed by 613k USD in (2021).
We quickly gained traction with our online presence gaining over 50,000 followers on Instagram alone and over 35,000 email subscribers. We were unique with our approach to marketing the brand. We offered affordable, yet luxury vegan-friendly bags all under the $100 price mark.
We managed to pave our way into a market that was dominated by the big brands by offering luxury yet affordable bags. Our average customer was Female in the 18-35 age range and they wouldn't be willing to spend over $500+ for a bag when they could actually get the same quality and designer look from us - Femni London.
The reason this business is up for sale now reluctantly is that I also have another brand in the men's fashion niche - Sans Pareil Clothing. My attention is now fully focused on my other brand and I cannot find the time to manage this brand to its full potential anymore. Since the end of 2021 sales have declined as I haven't had the time or resources and team to scale the brand to new highs. It would be a real shame to not let this brand get its full potential. I really believe it could be a household name in the next few years with the right team in place.
Brand has huge potential that we have not even explored yet. We got contacted by ASOS in 2021 and they have expressed an interest in stocking the brand. We were also approached by ITV to have our pieces featured on THISMORNING. I believe this brand with the right team and focus could take this to a household brand.
We hold & fulfill all of our inventory in our own warehouse. We currently have about 15k (wholesale price) left. We haven't bought inventory since I decided I wanted to sell the brand at the end of 2021.
We have great relationships with our suppliers in china. We work closely with 2 factories that can produce over 50,000 units per month, so there wouldnt be any problems at scale. These contacts will all be included in the sale.
We have trademarks for our Name and logo here in the UK.
