THE OPPORTUNITY
The current owners developed the Keel Row into a thriving business, starting out 23 years ago. They have established a sound business model which is very workable in terms of lifestyle and staffing, while providing a high quality product and demonstrating profitability. Because of the high level of passing trade, word of mouth recommendation and repeat custom, the Keel Row has never required a website, leaflet or advertising, to be at full capacity. A facebook page provides information on local events, opening hours and menu. Any new owners would be free to put their own stamp and style on the bar and restaurant, utilizing the amazing local produce, with the comfort of knowing there was a range of high volume markets literally passing the door, with no other bar or restaurant in the village. The current owners now wish to retire in the local area and believe there is scope to considerably develop the business and increase sales, should this be the objective of a new owner.
