The Foresters House is situated in the heart of the conservation marina village of Inverkip, on the beautiful Clyde Coast between Largs and Gourock. The area is famous for its stunning scenery, lochs, golf courses, sailing, maritime history and fresh seafood and is known as the Gateway to the Highlands.
The Foresters House bed and breakfast is a charming Victorian villa. The house previously occupied by the Head Forester of Ardgowan Estates has been carefully modernised to retain its old charm and provide a high standard of accommodation.
We have extensively renovated and modernised the house in order to keep up with guests expectations and to create owners private living area. All alterations have received full planning consent.
Due to the design of the building and large garden there is potential for expansion. Also planned at the outskirts of the village is a distillery with a world class visitors centre. The distillery will be on the Whisky Trail which will provide an increase to the business. There are plans for a £15m cruise terminal to welcome cruise ship passengers in Greenock. This should increase bookings due to passengers and crews requirement for accommodation before embarking and disembarking.
There are three bed and breakfasts in the area but the business opportunities are ample to support all three. The 3 bed and breakfasts work together in order to increase business.
