Find Out How to Value A Business

Rupert Trevelyan from Weybrook Business Brokers will fill you in on all the details of valuing a business.

After a one show hiatus Rupert Trevelyan is back to help you figure out the complexities of business valuation.

He joins us for the first day of Businesses For Sale Live at The Business Show this November.

Valuing a business is critical to achieving a sale and the right value for the seller. This seminar will explore valuation techniques and more importantly the multiples that are likely to be achieved in current market conditions.

You will learn about buyer requirements and how by understanding these, you’ll be more likely to negotiate a successful sale.

Rupert has 30 years’ experience in running and marketing businesses. His career has spanned several industries and he has a real interest in businesses and what they do, as well as a passion for good customer service.

Before starting Weybrook he was running the three London Racecourses for the Jockey Club (Epsom, Sandown Park and Kempton Park), delivering world-class sporting events, including the Epsom Derby.

Prior to the Jockey Club, he held high profile positions with The Royal Horticultural Society, The Steam Packet Company, Centrica, The Compass Group, Whitbread and Young's Brewery equipping him with very strong management skills, marketing, branding and commercial experience. This extensive experience is of real benefit in helping buyers and sellers of businesses.

Weybrook Business Brokers offers a highly personalised service by concentrating a small number of clients, this allows them to create a bespoke marketing plan and match the right buyers and sellers and provide a high level of support.

They offer three main services; the core activity is helping owners sell their business; they also find businesses for buyers and offer consultancy to sellers who want to prepare their businesses for sale. All their conversations start with a no-obligation consultation.

Rupert is speaking at 3pm on Wednesday 27th November at Businesses For Sale Live as part of The Business Show. Get your free ticket here.
