The model was developed by our client who strongly believes Education should be available for everyone regardless of their background. Although the platform is available for everyone, the company mission is to tackle educational inequality by providing students from low-income households in the UK the resources and support they need to achieve success in their academics, career and life.
Coming from an area where poverty levels are high, our client saw first-hand the potential being wasted due to lack of resources and support.
Our client subsequently then invested both time and money to establish the new brand within the UK however the goal has always been to develop this into a global brand that reaches out to young people across the world, especially those in developing countries where they lack the resources and guidance to fulfil their dreams.

Parents register interest on the website.
Our client takes part in first call to discuss with parent discussing the process and their requirements
Client matches the student with a tutor who he believes best matches their needs
All tutors are DBS checked and carefully vetted
Tutor sends email detailing their bio, any questions and a booking link
Parent books in a trial lesson
If parents/child are happy they are sent contract to complete with direct debit mandate

Throughout the summer, our client will be embarking on a significant promotion programme where he will be hosting free workshops to students. He will also be partnering up with some major charities, organisations and schools.
Workshops will include Careers Advice, University Advice, Intro to Dentistry and Medicine, Law and Politics, Business Innovation and Broader Learning.
There will also be some paid workshops - EmpowerOwl Book Club, Maths, Science, English Workshops etc.
All attendees will automatically sign into the mailing list.
Broader Learning is a uniquely designed curriculum created by our client which will be piloted during the summer programme to allow us to measure its success.
Our client identifies that to further expand the business model it needs more time and money invested and for this reason, he is now looking to sell the platform and allow any fortunate new owner to take the brand to the next level.
