This olde worlde character tea room comes complete with a beautifully presented 2 bedroom home. It is conveniently situated on the High Street enjoying all year round trade from visitors and locals alike.
Ilfracombe being North Devon's premier seaside town, where the fantastic Devon countryside meets the sea, is close to some of the UK's best beaches, breathtaking rolling hills and countryside, picturesque villages and country pubs. Attracting surfers, walkers, cyclists and nature lovers makes it a great place for all year round holidays.
This well established popular licenced tea room has traded for around 80 years and has been in the caring hands of the current owners for the last 5 & 3/4 years; it is now on the market due to the owners wishing to retire.
The current Business was inspired by the owner's love of making and baking good old fashioned tasty food whilst enjoying living in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. The menu has been kept to traditional tea room fare with added touches such as homemade sourdough, cakes and scones, using china tea sets and cake/afternoon tea stands and now in line with current Covid guidelines, easy to clean and sanitize, varnished wooden tables.
The business has been run to suit the current owner's lifestyle and thus presents a great opportunity for the new owners to continue in their footsteps or should they have the appetite, there is huge potential to increase turnover and profits by introducing longer opening hours, evening trade or opening Sundays and Mondays.
