Holliers Hotel is a detached, imposing building, said to have been originally built in the 18th Century, substantially extended during the Victorian era and further improved in recent years. The three storey building now provides a 30 bedroom hotel boasting a host of facilities that include an indoor pool with Jacuzzi and adjoining Spa area with Sauna and Fitness room. There are liovely gardens with children's play equipment, decked areas and terracing, highly popular with the hotel's guests and non residents alike.
The Carvery Restaurant and Bar is currently laid to cater for 66 covers and is highly popular with both hotel guests and non residents alike. Adjacent there is a Piano Bar, with relaxed seating, pub pursuits and Ladies and Gents w.c. facilities. Of particular interest is the recently opened "Sizzlers" which is a separately accessed 43 cover restaurant offering Steak House style fayre and open to the public from 5.30 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. We understand that Sizzlers has been a great hit both locally and to tourists, wishing to enjoy candlelit dining in Shanklin's Olde Village.
The 30 rooms are ensuite with a mixture of baths and showers and situated on first and second floor levels. A number of the rooms have been updated and improved in recent years and are well appointed, furnished and equipped to a good standard.
A comprehensively equipped kitchen with ancillary stores is conveniently located at the rear of the restaurant.
