The Great House is delightfully situated just off the heart of this popular Exmoor village enjoying views towards the surrounding hills, close to superb walks and within four miles of the coast at Minehead.
The original house, which is of Tudor origins was gentrified in 1720 with an imposing Georgian addition and still retains many inherent features to include wonderful timber panelled rooms, fireplaces, tall windows with windows seats and sweeping staircase.
The property is currently run as a successful business letting the complete house out to functions, family parties and corporate events.
It is also equally suitable as a large family home, multi-generational families, or those wishing to take advantage of the guest house trade in the area.
The property is approached through a stone pillared entrance onto a large gravelled entrance forecourt providing excellent parking and turning facilities.
To the front is a paved terrace with stone balustrading.
From the terrace stone steps lead up a lawned garden on a higher level which also runs up the side of the property.
To the rear is an enclosed garden with paved terrace, lawn with flower and shrub borders, raised central bed and a further walled terrace on a higher level with barbecue.
