Business Operation

Expansion Potential:

Due to ill health we are running the guest house well under its maxium potential. There is huge potential to increase trade in many different ways.
A new guest room could be made available,evening meals provided, greater advertising (as we do not advertise or use companies such as Late Rooms,,Trivago etc)
12 months trading as at the moment we only trade for 9 months of the year and within this time frame we allocate time off due to needing a break because of illness etc

Competition / Market:

We achieve a five star rating with Tripadvisor every year and therefore we are usually the first choice guesthouse for many visitors wanting to stay in Ingleton and The Yorkshire Dales our guests return year in year out and Ingleton itsself is fortunate to have a very active Trade Association which promotes both new and old events in the Village to attract a wider variety of tourists to the area

Owners needing to retire earlier than expectected due to genuine health problems

Trading hours:

At the moment we trade from mid February through till the start of December this is by choice and there is no reason why this cannot be extended to include the lucrative christmas, New Year Period.
