The Firs is a very well established family run business in the Highland Village of Blair Atholl, famous for Blair Castle, ancestral home of the Dukes of Atholl and the Atholl Highlanders - The House of Bruar is 3 miles from the village. The village's main line railway station (Inverness-London) is less than a mile from the Firs, Edinburgh and Inverness airports are 90 minutes.
As owners we are intending to retire after 32 years in this exceptional location with its spectacular scenery and excellent travel connections to all parts of the UK.

Blair Atholl is an idyllic little Highland Village 80 miles north of Edinburgh and 85 miles south of Inverness, just off the A9 and Highland railway. The village has a hotel, pub and restaurant together with a couple of shops for all essentials. Pitlochry, a bustling tourist town is 7 miles south. The Firs is 150m from the main village street.
A traditional detached Edwardian Villa, tastefully extended and modernised, set in its own substantial garden/grounds with on-site parking. Within the grounds there is a recently built high quality 1 bedroom Garden Lodge (wheelchair accessible) with all necessary facilities for short breaks or B&B. There is also an extensive range of outbuildings within the grounds.
Current owners operate a restricted season, mid-March to mid-October, there is potential for enthusiastic new owners to extend the season to accommodate winter walkers as well as winter events at the Castle and the House of Bruar. The Garden Lodge business is in its infancy.
