CHRIS Robottom has rallied from a Brexit-fuelled redundancy by taking on his own kitchen makeover showroom franchise.

Chris had worked at international level as a sales director for an oil, gas and utility company since 2005 but was looking for a new venture after being laid off.

He found the opportunity he was looking for by running a showroom in his hometown of Dudley for Dream Doors, the UK’s #1 kitchen makeover company.

Chris said: “I used to sell safety equipment for a large supplier in the UK before I moved on to the European market. That job eventually progressed to a global level.

“I was offered redundancy due to Brexit but that was fine because I had always wanted to run my own business.

“I researched a number of well-known franchise opportunities but I kept getting drawn back to Dream Doors.

“The value of the investment was the highest and the concept is excellent.”

Chris added: “The training was great – one day I didn’t know a thing about kitchens, the next day I was measuring up for a refit.

“I also trust the senior directors – they are honest about the opportunity, and the work involved, and so were the other franchisees I spoke to.

“I got a lot of feedback before I signed up.

“The decider for me was that other franchises seem to require a far greater initial cash investment but would have given me no more income. In fact, I can achieve more here with a lower initial investment.”

Dream Doors is looking for more talented franchisees like Chris who are ready to generate huge profits by representing an industry-leading brand.

There are just 19 new franchise territories available nationwide, particularly in the North East, North West, Yorkshire and Scotland.

Meet the Dream Doors recruitment team at Franchise Opportunities Scotland at the Radisson Blu, Glasgow on Thursday, September 12. The team will also be at the NEC in Birmingham on Friday, October 4 and Saturday 5.
