Glitz and glamour in Glasgow as Laser Clinics UK opens its 50th site

24 November 2023

Smiles, selfies and Champagne brought an evening of glitz and glamour to Glasgow at the launch of Laser Clinics UK’s 50th site, just four years since the first UK clinic opened.

Influencers, journalists and VIPs joined LCUK head office staff and the site’s franchise owners Babar and Iram Nasim as the couple embarked on their mission to transform aesthetics and laser hair removal from their new clinic on Buchanan Street.

The influencers and the traditionally influential drank in the atmosphere of the state-of-the-art laser hair removal and skincare clinic while toasting the success of LCUK’s latest franchisees.

Babar said: “Iram and I knew when we first approached LCUK that there’d be a huge demand for laser hair removal in Glasgow, and since our launch we’ve discovered just how celebrated the brand is.”

Glasgow Central is LCUK’s second clinic in Scotland’s second city – it also has one in Edinburgh – with more planned north of the border. English clinics range from Plymouth to Sunderland and Norwich to Cardiff.

“It’s such an honour to be entrusted with LCUK’s 50th clinic,” says Iram. “And, of course, Babar and I have put our trust as well as our capital into the venture as equal investors with LCUK.

“They really do help and support you along the way. They had a team arranging everything before handing us the keys, it’s just been amazing, it really has.”

Jenny Bartlett, Head Of Franchise Recruitment, says the Glasgow Central clinic is a showpiece, a visible reminder of just how successful LCUK has been in building a network of lucrative treatment centres in such a short time.

“This clinic is our fiftieth but it’s just the first of many more to come,” she says. “We’ve shown across the UK that our model, accessibility and affordability are in huge demand, even through the challenges of the last few years since we first arrived in the UK.

“If we can grow to 50 clinics through a pandemic, imagine what we can do in coming years!”

Laser Clinics now operates more than 200 clinics globally in five countries, making it the world’s largest cosmetic aesthetics clinic business.
