Under the proposed traffic light system for the planned restart of abroad holidays from 17 May, even those returning from “green” low-risk countries will have to pay to have the tests.

Not Just Travel franchisees can offer tests for people aged 5 and over. The options are:

• Home Testing – £45pp through Postal Service (min. 7 days before travel) plus postage fee of approx £5.

• Test Centre – £55pp Minimum 3 days prior to travel. Test taken by customer at test centre. Result aim – 24-48 hours later

• Same Day Testing – £140pp Minimum 1 day prior to travel. Book appointment online. Results before midnight that evening. 

The testing partner Assured Screening says its tests are ‘CE marked for in-vitro diagnostics’ and that its approved test kits can be used in the UK and Europe. 

Once your customer does the test, they can repackage the sample into the pre-paid returns bag and drop it off at a priority post box. When the sample is received by the lab, they should get your results via email within 24-48 hours.
