2018 brings early success to latest Radfield Home Care franchisee

31 January 2018

Starting 2018 with a bang, Radfield Home Care has already registered its first franchise of the year, with its first branch in the north west of England, Radfield Home Care Liverpool North, launching its home care services last week.

The latest franchise achieved its CQC registration on 10th January, allowing franchisee, Dave Bellis to begin trading with clients already waiting following a successful pre-launch period.

With the branch’s first two clients already underway, it has allowed the Liverpool North franchise to get an early head start on its projections, as Dave explains: “Whilst waiting for our CQC registration to be completed, we spent a lot of time marketing and networking ourselves in the local community, which is where both of our immediate clients have come from! We concentrated a lot getting to know the locals and really building our brand awareness through networking events and even hosting our own market stalls. It has paid off though as we have two more clients in the pipeline.

“I spent 30 years in finance and IT before being made redundant in June last year, but the last few days have probably been more exciting than my whole corporate career put together. No two days are the same and it is great to see how happy our clients are: each day I am more and more certain I have made the right decision.”

Franchisor and experienced GP, Dr Hannah Mackechnie has years of experience in the sector, but is always pleased to see a compassionate and enthusiastic franchisee start off so strongly: “When we first met Dave, he explained he wanted to enter the healthcare sector following experiences with home care services his own parents received. Those that we meet with such personal connections regularly succeed within this sector, as they have the compassion and desire to provide an excellent service.

“Dave and his Registered Care Manager, Tracey have both followed the model to the letter, marketing in the pre-launch period and networking as much as possible. It is thanks to their commitment to the model that they have been able to experience such early success - and now have an excellent Radfield Home Care future ahead of them.”

With over 35 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, the latest Liverpool North branch means Radfield Home Care now has nine locations across the UK providing home care services to vulnerable older people in their local communities. As a result, Radfield Home Care franchisees own and operate businesses in the increasingly in-demand, multi-billion pound healthcare market; not only supporting hospitals, but also providing an affordable and comfortable care alternative to traditional residential homes.

Radfield Home Care currently has opportunities for other franchises to join its growing network and develop rewarding businesses with the help and experience of the franchisor and highly qualified, specialist support team.
