Michael Ziff has an impressive business background leading the development of his family’s footwear company to reach a turnover of over £200million.
His latest venture introduces the business brokerage franchise, Transworld Business Advisors, into the UK market which has been ranked the number one franchise in the business brokerage industry by the prestigious Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 year after year.

Michael Ziff’s background
Michael Ziff is Chairman and CEO of Transworld Business Advisors UK Ltd. Educated at Clifton College Bristol and Leeds University, Michael is Yorkshire man married with three sons and lives in London. From university, Michael worked for Slater Walker and Debenhams before joining the family footwear business, Stylo, as a Director and in 1990 became Chief Executive Officer.
In 2004, Michael became a Director of Town Centre Securities Plc. A fully-listed property and car park company in which both he and his family have a substantial interest, TCS has a yearly profit of £7million and net assets of £190million, including the Merrion Centre in Leeds which the company also owns.
A keen sportsman, Michael enjoys running and competed in the London Marathon and other 10k and half marathon events. He enjoys cricket and attended the Maccabi Games as Chair of Junior Cricket in 2005, Chair of Junior and Open Cricket in 2009 and as Chair of Maccabi GB 2013. He is also an avid supporter of both Leeds United FC and Yorkshire County Cricket.
Michael has held a number of executive and non-executive directorships and acts as an advisor and mentor to businesses and charitable concerns. Michael previously sat as Deputy Chair of the University of Leeds. To add to his accolades and achievements, Michael was awarded “Doctor of the University” by the University of Bradford in recognition of his business achievements and for his many contributions to the City and District of Bradford.
