Trade magazine Build has named Betterclean Services as the winner of its Best Commercial Cleaning Company accolade in the Facilities Management Awards 2016.

Dedicated to “recognising those hidden heroes within facilities management for their excellence and dedication to their profession”, the annual awards showcase businesses providing the highest quality services to commercial clients in a range of categories from construction to property management.

Dan van Kuyk, the founder and managing director of Betterclean Services, said: “What’s especially pleasing about this award is that it involved a comprehensive examination of our business practices. We were required to submit evidence of our methodology, the audits we carry out into our operations to ensure the highest service levels, and direct customer feedback.

“I’m delighted that the judging panel were impressed by our unrelenting focus on quality. The award is recognition for the exceptional standards of all of our franchise owners and their teams around the country.”

The award comes as Betterclean Services sets up for rapid growth in 2017, with a series of measures announced including new support initiatives, an enhanced business management system and extra head office staff in place to fuel individual franchise owners’ growth.
