Barking Mad Recognises and Supports Dog Sitting Achievement

At Barking Mad Dog Care we believe in supporting and encouraging our local franchise business owners every step of the way.

Our annual conference, held at the stunningly located Lakeside Hotel, on the shores of Lake Windermere, gives us the opportunity to come together, recognising and celebrating our inspirational franchisees’ achievements. It is also a fantastic chance to share ideas and our combined wealth of experience.

Barking Mad is an established and experienced franchisor and has won multiple awards including the Amazon Growing Business Awards UK, CBI, British Franchise Association (BFA) and HSBC bank. We are a full member of the BFA and the Pet Industry Federation within the Pet Services sector. Barking Mad continues to grow and following our acquisition by Franchise Brands plc Group in November 2016, we have a solid foundation to take the business to an even greater pedigree.

This year sees us ready to go live with our first ever TV advert which launches on the 15th May and has made the event even more special.”

Faye Carruthers was delighted to be awarded the Brand Builder of the Year Award 2017

Lee Dancy was delighted to present the Brand Builder of the Year Award to Faye Carruthers, owner – operator of Barking Mad Paisley and Inverclyde. She enthused:

 

“Faye is an extremely deserving as she has completed another year of hard work dedicated to spreading the Barking Mad word of loving dog holidays in the Inverclyde and Paisley area. Faye is passionate about dogs and people and is a natural at finding ways to share her stories of fantastic dog holidays both online and in her region.”

Sharon Booden was delighted to receive recognition in the Most Improved  Business Award

Lee was pleased to present Sharon Booden of Barking Mad Norfolk with an award commemorating her success in the Most Improved Business category and said,

“Sharon has worked very hard and moved the business forward despite the challenges set in her way. We are so proud to recognise her achievements this way and wish her the very best as she continues to go from strength to strength.”

Sue Seward was awarded the Barking Mad 2017 Special Achievement Award

Lee Dancy was delighted to award the 2017 Special Achievement Award to Sue Seward of Barking Mad Washington and Tyneside. She enthuses,

“Sue is a truly fun character, very committed and extremely supportive with her fellow franchisees. She has consistently hit targets achieving excellent growth year on year and fully deserves this accolade.”

Tracy Johnston received recognition in the Most Improved Business Award category also.

Lee Dancy was delighted to also recognise Tracy Johnson of Barking Mad Teeside and Darlington in the Most Improved Business category. She said,

“Tracy throws herself into Barking Mad with boundless enthusiasm and is dedicated and focused on making her business a huge success. She is now in year two of her business, which started as a greenfield territory and has just been joined by husband, Chris, in the business. We look forward to next year with both of them on board!”

Also recognised at the conference, during a glitzy evening awards ceremony were:

Mark Abbott who was named Newcomer of the Year

Melissa Sincock who was named Franchisee of the Year

Richard Wall who was awarded a Special Achievement Award by the Barking Mad Customer Contact Centre.
