It’s been a momentous year for Autosmart, the UK’s leading vehicle cleaning product manufacturer, and what better way to celebrate their 35 years in business than with the official opening of their second site.
Local dignitary Zaphne Stretton and Autosmart Managing Director, Sophie Atkinson cut the ribbon for the official opening of Autosmart’s second site.
In their 35 years trading, the company has grown to become a truly international network, with 250 franchisees servicing hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers across countries include the UK, Ireland, France, Holland, Germany, Sweden, Australia and USA.
The Autosmart network is very ambitious and over the last 10 years has doubled its annual sales from £20million to £40 million. It is because of this drive and determination to continue expanding that the company has acquired this second site, in Norton Canes, Staffordshire.
The new site gives the company an extra 46,000 square feet of building and an additional 1.5 acres of extra yard space. The factory footprint will literally double in size and is an essential part of the plans to help their franchisees global sales grow from £40million to £80million over the next 10 years.
