Home Instead’s annual conference celebrates their network’s passion for care

Leading home care franchise, Home Instead was delighted to once again bring together its national franchise network to celebrate their passion for care at their annual conference.

Although held virtually once again, the conference was a great opportunity for Home Instead to share its visions for the future, whilst being able to celebrate the amazing achievements of their 240 strong franchise network over the past twelve months.

Following the theme of ‘Our Time’, the conference reflected on the Home Instead network’s amazing strength and determination throughout the past year. Even though times have been challenging, Home Instead franchisees and their teams continued to display an undeniable passion for what they do.

And this passion is reflected in their growth, with care hours across the network up by 18.5% over the past twelve months. The Home Instead franchise network now employs 12,000 Care Professionals providing unrivalled, quality home care to 16,000 clients.

The #1 UK franchise celebrated the milestones achieved across their network, with an overwhelming number of offices achieving record growth over the past year, and receiving glowing feedback from their staff in their PEAQ feedback, with exceptional levels of employee satisfaction.

Alongside this, Home Instead announced the finalists for their ‘Caregiver of the Year’, an outstanding individual whose dedication to care has really made a difference to their clients. The winner will be announced later this year.

And as a bit of fun for their franchisees, Home Instead welcomed John Courtenay, winner of Britain’s Got Talent, who wrote a bespoke song, recognising the growth and achievement of the Home Instead network and the impact it has.

Martin Jones, CEO of Home Instead UK reflected: “Home Instead makes a difference to peoples lives, how many businesses can say that?”

Home Instead franchisees have been able to nurture and grow their businesses, even throughout unusual times, due to ongoing support from our National Office team. Support is provided in every aspect of running a Home Instead business, including changing regulations and developments in the sector, as well as with recruitment and retention.

Since being acquired by Honor in August 2021, Home Instead’s mission has aligned to further enhance their quality care through technology and professionalisation. Building on this, the company was proud to announce at their conference that their hardworking caregivers will now be referred to as ‘Care Professionals’, reflecting the true skill and dedication they all display in their daily work.

Home Instead’s annual conference is just one of the ways their network comes together to celebrate their achievements, share best practice and enjoy themselves. Franchisees also benefit from a strong peer support network, including regular regional meetings and referral networks between neighbouring offices.

Ruth Brown, Director of Business Development at Home Instead comments: “We all love coming together for conference; sharing news and updates, all whilst celebrating the extraordinary achievements of our franchise network.

“It has been another year of growth for our franchisees, who benefit from our award-winning support guiding them through all aspects of running a home care business, and are therefore able to spend time building a trusted and quality reputation in their local communities. We are a premium brand, offering a premium service.

“We have welcomed some fresh faces to our network, who are enthusiastic to further our mission whilst growing their own successful businesses. But we have also said goodbye to a number of franchisees, who have enjoyed their journey with us, having established profitable businesses which really do make a difference, and gone to sell them on.”
