Prior to setting up my Really Awesome Coffee franchise, my background was in sales working as a sales manager. I had no previous experience in the coffee industry at all.
It was very easy to get started with my franchise, the training I received was very good and comprehensive. The support I received was excellent and still continues to be. I can reach the HQ with just one phone call or email, they are always on hand to provide assistance.
I trade for 7 hours per day on the van which includes travelling. One of the things I love that my franchise offers me is the face to face contact I get with my customers and being able to chat with them on a daily basis.
The coffee I provide always gets positive comments from my customers, I generally like to make 3-4 coffees for myself each day! I serve mainly offices and have a loyal customer base who I serve everyday. The van is extremely well designed and thought out which makes operating my franchise very easy.
The most successful event I done was the UK cycling event which was a real stand out moment for me. I would like to do more events in the future which I will do in due time.
