The Halfway House Inn has been owned and run by the Williams family for the past 25 years. Now in their 80s, the owners wish to retire.
Surrounded by the golden fields of Shropshire, the Inn is situated approximately 2 miles from the beautiful, market town of Bridgnorth & alongside the B4364. This former Coaching Inn dates from the late 16th century and is a Grade 2 listed building.
INCLUDED IN THE SALE:
16th CENTURY INN:
The heavily beamed Inn is entered through a ornate barn style door. On entering you arrive into a cosy bar area, with a bare stone, open fire place that is a hit with both guests & locals during cold wintery evenings. The bar is partitioned by the original wooden pillars, giving way to the second bar area. From here you can access the conservatory, a snug with a wood burner and entrance to the games room. The rarely used games room would benefit from being developed into another bar / dining area or business meeting room. There is a dry stores room and also entrance to the customer toilets.
Above the Inn, there are 3 ensuite, character guest bedrooms. There is also a small ensuite staff bedroom. All 4 rooms have wall mounted flat screen TVs & central heating.
The Halfway House Inn is a free house and free-of-tie .
There are 3 semi detached holiday cottages. 2 of the cottages have a lockable adjoining door so can be turned into a 9 bed let when needed. All cottages have kitchens with white goods, wall mounted flat screen TVs & central heating.
Converted into 3 ensuite, character bedrooms. All rooms have wall mounted flat screen TVs & central heating. Building regs have been approved for 2 of the rooms to be converted into 1 large self catering let.
