Established in 1989, supplying attractions and game for corporate events and exhibition stands, covering all of the UK and occasionally European exhibition and convention centres and hotels.

All equipment has been designed and specified to allow one man delivery and set up, equipment is generally delivered, assembled and then left on location for several days and then collected at the end of the event. For the few occasions where staffing is required we have good relationships with individuals and agencies to enable this. Our emphasis has been on selling without staffing but there are many opportunities to expand the business in this field.
Mostly our venues are exhibition centres and convention hotels with ExCel, the NEC, Olympia, Manchester Central & Liverpool Arena regular delivery locations, the business can be relocated anywhere in the U.K. without disruption.
We keep multiples of almost all of our equipment, this enables us to undertake roadshows and multiple venue promotional events.
This sale includes all of the equipment that we use to operate the business, we are happy to provide a full inventory but as a guide - the major items included are 3 x full VR sets, 4 x Batak reaction walls, 2 x 46" multi touch displays with integrated pcs, 1 x compact F1 cockpit, 2 x space frame racing simulators, 1 rapid reaction table, we modestly value the inventory in excess of £40,000.
This business pioneered the supply of integrating games into promotional tools by adding branding, we are recognised as the leaders in branded games for exhibition stands and our relationship with a graphics contractor and the production of templates and drawings to further this aspect of the business have helped to grow margins. Templates and drawings are all included in the sale.
For the last 10 years or so we have developed the business to include mainland European coverage enabling us to treat those events as 'busmans holidays'.

We are located in the West Midlands but the business could easily be relocated anywhere in the UK.
Equipment is stored in shipping containers (the type you find in self storage facilities), we use a single 40' container, at a squeeze it could fitted into a single 20'.
Our other business is a Self Storage facility.
We have very good Google listings, the website has been built and maintained in house and a professional website builder may well obtain even better results.
This business has never been promoted, never advertised, customers come to us via the website, we quote and we sometimes follow up but we do not have a system for this, we do not send newsletters and we do not hold mailing lists etc, there has always been enough business, if anybody really tried there is tremendous potential.
We staunchly refuse to grant credit which alienates large marketing/advertising/pr agencies, some blue chip companies are unable to trade with us as a result.
There is a ‘season’ for this type of business, early March to early June and then September to early December but bookings do come all year, we have largely ignored the higher volume business supplying shopping centres for promotional events etc as they mostly take place at weekends.
The business has been run in a lifestyle manner, there are many opportunities to push on to the next level.
There are four or five companies that dominate this market - we are one of those five, we enjoy a good reputation for integrity and reliability, we lead the market in offering customisation and branding for exhibition attractions.
This has been very much a way of life, father and son, father still recovering from illness last year and approaching retirement age wants to slow down, son has interests in another (totally unrelated) business which he wishes to pursue, we have made the listing with some reluctance.
Emails are monitored continually and telephone calls are all diverted to mobile, we respond extremely promptly to enquiries.
We react to demand, over 90% of our business activity is Monday - Friday but occasionally Saturday or Sunday working is required, a typical day would include 30 minutes to load a van, 1 - 3 hours of driving, an hour to set up and another 1 - 3 hours to get home, on average each of us is doing this twice a week. We will offer full support to the new owners - we have preset contracts and order forms, use Xero for accounting, will direct you to suitable insurers, suppliers etc, give you operating, basic maintenance and set up/take down, venue delivery advice etc, pass on costing spreadsheets etc etc.
