Moving into a 200 year old cottage is when you realize that stainless steel doesn’t go with everything. It wasn’t the quality or the choice available, it was simply they just did not fit my style of cottage. That’s when the eureka moment happened, and Cooker Hoods UK was born!
Planning out the design meticulously, a statement cooker hood was crafted made from quality UK sourced wood based materials. The hood we created was highly practical and looked fantastic too.
Since then the business, has become one of the leading independent businesses offering bespoke & custom designed cooker hoods.
Originally started, in a small unit as a joinery shop manufacturing, by hand, bespoke cooker hoods for range cookers and the like, the company has progressed to state of the art CNC Routing with ultra modern Auto tool changing & programming, using Ventric software, popular in CNC Routing, offering not only higher productivity, but higher accuracy and reliability operating in a 3300ft sq unit on an easy rolling 3 month rental.
Selling to mainly the UK but also have customers in USA, France, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Ireland etc.
Every year has seen significant growth, but this year after 2 rounds of Covid hitting the workforce, including the owner, a retirement sale is planned.
