It is a 1960's 42ft Classic River Cruiser, pain-stakingly restored from an almost wreck after a restoration lasting 4 years.

This beautiful boat was bought with business in mind as a luxury honeymoon, Air B and B rental business, with the intention on running high end luxury river cruises on the stunning Helford river which is an area of outstanding natural beauty.

I'm selling this boat/business as a project that is 97% finished due to the current lockdown situation and circumstances beyond my control. However the boat will need about 3 to 4 weeks of work and approximately £4000 maximum to get her up and running and in the water, with the main cost being the marine paint and finishing touches to the twin Ford Diesel engines, both of which are running fine as can be seen in the videos.

All the hard work has been done as the hull has been fully restored, and will need painting in the spring when the weather's warmer, allowing a new potential owner to put their own mark on the colour scheme. The boat could easily be up and running for the up-coming summer season which is forecast to be a bumper season with the trend continuing in the future. There's potential for rental all year round including Christmas and New Year.

She's ideal for this type of accommodation business and also a perfect live aboard boat as she boasts standing head room throughout, with spacious, light and airy accommodation with plenty of storage space.

She sleeps 6 in total, 2 single births in the forward cabin, the seats make up a double bed in the galley area, and a huge super king size bed (2M x 2M) in the masters cabin with an en-suite toilet (brand new, unused) sink, shower head and plenty of storage.

She has hot and cold running water, a super efficient, 3KG washing machine, small fridge, Wallas diesel stove, (that is also an efficient air heater and is super safe as opposed to gas)

There's a decent shower area/walk-through wet room. There's 240volt mains hook up and 12 volt system running off a powerful 330 watt SunEdison solar panel leading to a large battery bank (8 x 60ah leisure batteries as new, industrial grade off a solar farm.

There's several USB ports, an inverter and 12 volt charging points for electric devices added throughout the boat.

There's a projector screen that rolls down in the wheelhouse, so you can watch movies on a big screen from the big bed in the master cabin or from the seating area in the wheelhouse which offers uninterrupted, elevated, 360 degree views and there's a hatch that comes off completely to really open it all up in good weather. The floor is made up of reclaimed solid English oak.

There's plenty of room to walk around on the open deck as I've stripped everything non-essential just to keep maintenance to a minimum. (The deck itself has been left as just 2 layers of primer and undercoat ready for a top layer of deck paint of the new potential owner to make that choice)

There's plenty of open space for storage for stand-up-paddle boards and other watersports equipment. She has been used as a dive-charter boat in previous years, doing regular voyages from Weymouth to the Channel Islands and Northern France. Supplied by two big 60 gallon diesel tanks, the two Ford 2700. 255 four-cylinder diesel engines are known to be bulletproof, efficient and cheap on parts. The engines are fully up and running, ready to go.

This boat was surveyed and valued at £35,000 way back in October 1993 and has extensive history, log books, original paperwork and certificate of registration etc.
