Every day our 100+ branch network provides drivers and distribution workers to a wide variety of customers ranging from hauliers and leading retailers to builders’ merchants, parcel delivery companies and local councils.
This is the perfect opportunity to grow one of Driver Hire's start-up opportunities in the Chesterfield and Worksop area.
Driver Hire franchise territories are allocated on a postcode basis and this franchise covers all the following postcodes: S17, S18, S32, S40 to S45, S80 and S81
Driver Hire Sheffield has provided some cover to the Chesterfield & Worksop area though not pro-actively.
We are seeking a sales-focused person to take on this franchise and build a successful business, with the support of Driver Hire’s award-winning Head Office team.

Our territories are carefully configured to offer a customer base with a good mix of national, regional and local firms from a wide cross-section of business sectors.
It should be noted that there is considerable potential to develop the business beyond our traditional area of driver supply into other complementary staff sectors including warehouse, distribution, ancillary industrial and professional.
The territory covers the following postcodes: S17, S18, S32, S40 to S45, S80 and S81 and the business will need to be set up and based within this area to enable candidates to register and for you to co-ordinate customer visits.
It is not a business you can run from home and you will be required, with our help, to source commercial office premises from which to operate from. The majority of new Driver Hire businesses operate from a serviced office, with the benefit of parking, flexible office space and often a reception desk. The cost of office premises will vary, and we can help with selecting something suitable.
The office will need to be equipped with two computers or laptops, a printer/fax/scanner/photocopier, a telephone system and broadband. You will need to operate the business with at least one member of staff.
There is certainly plenty of scope to grow a Driver Hire business in the Chesterfield and Worksop area. For example, the huge increase in home shopping has stimulated demand for multi-drop delivery drivers. In addition to supplying temporary drivers, Driver Hire franchisees can generate revenue from providing permanent staff, delivering classroom-based driver training and selling further complimentary products and services e.g. an online driving licence checker.

5-year renewable term.
When you start a franchise with Driver Hire you will sign a detailed franchise agreement. At Driver Hire the franchise agreement is for a period of 5 years and this can then be renewed every 5 years. Driver Hire does not charge a renewal franchise fee. The purpose of the agreement is to set out your rights and responsibilities and that of the franchisor.
As you’d expect from a leading franchise, the franchisor provides you with a comprehensive support package, helping you to plan, launch and develop your business to its maximum potential.
The 4 to 6 week intensive Foundation Training provides an excellent starting base supplemented throughout your lifespan as a Driver Hire franchisee by ongoing development and training. This includes; a six-month franchise support programme as well as regular up-dates and networking opportunities.
Each franchisee is also allocated an Area Development Manager and can access a head office support team of over 80 staff working in marketing, national accounts, IT, finance, telesales and training.
