A family focused café in Staines, Surrey, providing a safe soft play area for children and a café area for parents.
We offer a clean, safe and stimulating environment for 0-7 year old to play, learn and create.
The gap between soft play centres and the trendy coffee shops, creating 'the place to be' for local families.
The company benefits from two specific income streams: entrance fees to use the play café as well as a range of food and refreshments served at the café. In due course, additional income is provided through the running of a number of activity classes/ creche/ birthday parties for children.
We provide a range of hot sandwiches and children meals/snack however there is a huge potential of becoming a family friendly restaurant as there is an unused & unequipped kitchen space. Then with a little bit more investment the cafe can become a nice restaurant.

Staines or Staines-upon-Thames is situated in the borough of Spelthorne which is perfectly positioned in the north of Surrey and to the south-west of London.
In spring 2014, Staines-upon-Thames was highlighted by Property Weekly, as the town with more speculative development than anywhere else on the M25.
Staines-upon-Thames has also been identified as one of only five towns in the Enterprise M3 Local Economic Partnership to be a “step up town” (The Enterprise M3 Strategy for Growth).
Located a mere 1.5 miles from the M25, 3.5 miles away from Terminal 5 Heathrow and with a journey time of 34 minutes into Central London it is undoubtedly one of the ‘most connected’ parts of the UK. It represents a real opportunity for both families and businesses with exceptional schemes for both residential and retail development, with proximity to the London market.
With the Town’s principal natural asset the River Thames, it is rare to find a town centre which still has so many opportunities, providing a perfect blend of town and river.
Staines-upon-Thames has a series of high quality open spaces, whether it is the Memorial Gardens in the centre of the town, or the more child friendly Lammas Park nearby. One of the town’s ‘gems’ is Staines Village, full of historic buildings, independent retailers and a ‘hidden’ backwater on to the River Thames.
Staines-upon-Thames (and the Borough as a whole) has a huge range of both small independent businesses as well as globally renowned companies such as BP, d’nata and Shepperton Studios Pinewood Group. This gives excellent opportunities for those wishing to collaborate, expand their business network.
The Cafe is located in the historical building 'Listed building' on High Street
With a little bit more investment it can become a restaurant;
Of the 1,005 parents responding to the survey, 59% said that they had taken their pre-school children to a restaurant specifically because it provided family-friendly facilities rather than because of the choice of food on offer.
There is a real opportunity for the café to be more child-friendly, adding new offers to encourage families to shop and eat out more together.
A special menu and some form of entertainment were the top two options parents look for – initiatives that the play café perfectly cater towards.
No ‘child friendly’ cafés operate in Staines; This is the strengths – and more importantly – the weaknesses of a number of key competitors that operate close by:
• Snakes and Ladders – Brentford
• Piccolo Play Centre – Chiswick
• Caterpillars – Kingston
