- Dean - Can I ask what possessed you to give £58,500 to an internet company with no legal background information and not regulated with the FSA?

- hope the culprits are caught ,too many sharks about nowadays - my motto is now- EVERYTHING is a CON , best being cynical and believe NO ONE because dishonesty is the name of the game. This does beg the obvious question though;before parting with the big sum, shouldnt you have verified there credentials?Did you meet them in any offices face to face ?Best policy is cynicism and a "dont believe attitude".

- With hindsite I ask myself the very same question every day.
In reality it was a build up of relationships over a period of time combined with the desperation to fund money to purchase a business that I did not want to lose.
I don't class myself as a stupid person yet what I did was the most expensive mistake of my life. The £58K was a large chunk of my lifes savings through selling my hard earned home.
This is why I am so passionate about informing others over the net, through this forum and my website.
It is far to easy to be sucked in by these con-men and the law currently does nothing to protect the victims.
With the current financial climate making it even harder to obtain money, my big worry is that internet businesses like Praxis will make a fortune.
My offer still stands to the right type of person with the ability to track these people down, that if I was to get my money back, I would give them a reward of £20K.

- Hi Dean,
Have you thought about hiring a tracing company? Private eye usually carry a couple of ads from these type of companies, www.locateperson.net is in the current issue, James Black on 0211 247 5550
Good luck and hope you catch them!

I am very interested in any one that has the tools/ability to track these crooks down. Please contact me through my website.
Again, Thanyou all for your continuing support through this forum and my website.

- Thanks from those of you that expressed an interest in getting my money back but the chances of getting enough money back to fund the efforts involved have made my offer a non starter.
However I am confident that even if I do not get my money back, the Police and Courts will bring a cerain person to justice- very soon.
