The Foot Solutions Market

Our focus is on the market between the NHS serving the medically challenged with very unfashionable footwear, and the comfort shoe stores that have comfortable and attractive footwear, but do not solve foot problems. We have 5 market niches which include: Health & Wellness, Medical /Therapeutic, Active/Sports, Comfort & Style, and Arch Supports & Orthotics. Many people use our in-store services to buy all their footwear from trainers to fashionable office attire. This includes people with long-term foot conditions and injury or those that simply want the best for their feet. Our personal service delivered by trained experts is popular across all age groups for people who are looking for comfort without compromising on style.

There are now 14 million people in the UK aged over 60 and this is projected to increase by 50% over the next 25 years. Site evaluation and selection: we use specific targeted demographics as part of our support and careful selection of retail unit.

Financing your business: help in preparation of loan portfolio. Store design, layout and fit-out support Intensive training programme: you will receive an intensive 2-week training programme at our Certified Pedorthic Training Centre. In addition, you will also spend time with our extensive web-based training. Training videos, manuals and monthly conference calls are all part of the ongoing training process plus store set-up and hands on opening support for 5 days. Operations support: a dedicated team of individuals will help guide you on business controls, processes, inventory management, marketing, grassroots advertising, sales analysis as well as many other business topics. Marketing and advertising support: planning and designing advertising layouts, seasonal programmes and guidance on regional advertising promotions are benefits you can expect as a Foot Solutions franchise owner. Central warehouse: exclusive products and group purchasing reduces cost and provides increased profits. Protected territory: you will receive an exclusive geographic territory to include a minimum 100,000 population.

Training & Support

Foot Solutions provides a comprehensive training programme for its franchisees, managers, and technicians. Our own Foot Solutions Pedorthic Training Centre, based in Atlanta, Georgia in the US, is a fully certified facility and you will receive 2 weeks of training in the US as part of your induction programme.

The remainder of your initial training will be conducted in the UK where you will learn more about our 120-day kick-start plan.

We have a well-established support services system which includes:

your retail location. Additionally, we have developed specific marketing materials dependant upon market dynamics. All stores are given a local website upon opening that helps expose their store online, including a new e-commerce system.
