Business description
Advent Business Sales are pleased to offer to the market this well established plastic extrusion manufacturer, which has been trading successfully for the past 7 years.
The current vendor has been in constant ownership and is reluctantly selling due to ill health reasons.
The company produces various tubes and profiles.
It has a very broad base of between 70 to 80 regular customers only expanding this through recommendation and word of mouth.
Due to health and safety regulations and its present venue, only the owner has been producing the required extrusions. With relocating, staff could be employed to highly increase the company output.
The company owns many dyes, which have been kept in near pristine condition, at today’s replacement costs; these would be between £600 - £900 a piece.
There are 5 extruder machines:
2 x 45mm
1 x 48mm
1 x 60mm
1 x 80mm
Screw sizes, one of the 45mm machines are not inline but is a spare.
The 4 machines in use are fitted up with down lines consisting of heater, head, vacuum tank, cooler and pullers as well as cutters, 2 cutters are knife and 2 are saw type.
The company also has a cooling tower for the cooling tanks, as well as a hydrovane 66 compressor, a small lathe and 2 pillar drill for maintenance, a forklift and a small oven for pre drying materials prior to being fed to the production hoppers.
The stock is included into the selling price.
