Advent Business Sales are delighted to offer for sale this well established concern, which has been trading for the past 20 years. It was originally established by the current vendor.

The owner has built up a loyal customer base and has an excellent reputation within the trade in both the East and West Midlands.

The sale has been instructed due to a motive to semi retire. Even so, the owner is ready willing and able to conduct a full hand over period for 3 months. He is also willing to work on a part time basis after the 3 months as a sales representative or agent, subject to negotiation.

As the owner has been in the industry for 31 years with many contacts, it would certainly be advantageous for a new owner seeking to grow the business quickly, efficiently and cost effectively.

The business is involved in providing a mobile concrete pumping service for both the domestic and building trade.

This is delivered via an experienced operator to place concrete by either the use of a 16 metre boom arm or through a pipeline. It is extremely useful for awkward and restricted access places. Our client carries a minimum of 35 to 40 metres of pipe and flexi hose as standard equipment. If extra pipe is needed our client can supply up to 60 metres.

The sale includes the mobile concrete pump mounted onto a lorry. The value of a new pump mounted vehicle is £200,000. Second hand vehicles with pumps are available for approximately £90,000 in today’s market.

Our client is a member of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).

The business has become well known throughout the Midlands due to consistent advertising campaigns over the years in both the Yellow Pages and more recently with a website on Yell.com.

increase in Aug/Sept 09. An enthusiastic new owner can develop the business, especially due to the specialised nature of the business, as there will always be a demand for the service where access is awkward, difficult and restricted to both domestic and industrial building sites.

The business would suit a person from within the construction or transportation sector, as a HGV licence would be required, although an operator’s licence is not required.
