Myko Tech has focused on R & D to develop microbial technologies relating to microbial metabolites . Towards this, it has established an excellent culture collection of novel and rare tropical fungi, of which nearly 1000 are present in its culture collection.
The R & D Laboratory of the company is recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India. Myko Tech has successfully obtained government funding for several of its research projects. The company possesses a good microbiology laboratory. Myko Tech carries its own R & D aimed towards developing technologies and also has the capabilities to undertake contract research for other industries.
