The business was established by the present owners in 1993 and specialises in the refurbishment, restoration and re-sale of especially high precision lathes as used by precision engineering companies, the medical and aerospace industries, colleges and universities throughout the UK. Each re-manufacture machine is completely dismantled and every part then inspected, re-ground or replaced using genuine manufacturer’s parts. The machines are then rebuilt to an ‘as new’ condition from gearbox, to electrical and re-spraying. Original parameters are then used for testing and inspection purposes before the machine is returned to the client or offered for re-sale.
