An established business operating over 10 years, the business specialises in Data recovery. To compliment this it also offers the supply of high margin specialist data storage devices to niche markets, primarily in UK but also in mainland Europe.

The business has a significant client base of over 1200 clients including much corporate and commercial offering strong repeat trade. There is some consumer business and with the advent of notebooks this is growing and could be significantly expanded upon (mainly via web marketing). Recoveries are logged and booked, with most hard drives arriving by courier. About 20% of these are recovered in house which enables high gross profit margins. 80% are outsourced to various specialist companies on a per expertise and fault basis. The business obtains business via its reputation, expertise in identifying faults and strong turn around administration skills, Optical and tape recovery are undertaken but at a lower level and now account for less than 20% of sales due to the decline in popularity of this media.

The business can be run from home and, as such, is completely relocatable and enjoys very low overheads. Marketing is undertaking but much of the trade is through repeat business.
