A truly delightful Wine Bar & Restaurant nestling in the shadows of St Bart’s Church, and just around the corner from Smithfield Market & The Barbican Centre. The Restaurant was in fact named after Sir John Betjeman, the former poet Laureate, who once lived above the Restaurant! The Restaurant comprises two charming rooms with stripped wooden floors, old dark wood furniture and matching bespoke Bar and plain cream walls. Both sections are air conditioned and provide a unique atmosphere. Starters range from £5 to £8.50 with Main Courses of between £10.50 and £14.50. There is also a set menu of 2 Courses for £18.50 or 3 Courses for £22.50. An extensive wine list is available with a small selection of bottled beers. The business has a regular following of clients and many positive postings on the toptable website, from whom our Clients receive a large number of Internet generated reservations. This really must be seen to be appreciated. The property was inspected by our Gerard Biagioni, who will coordinate any sale of the business, and who will also be happy to answer any questions.
